A Reformation of the Will

The bridge to nowhere is everywhere.

Discovering Erasmus is one of the great joys of life.

Out of the cold, sterile philosophies of Descartes and Plato, comes the new man, equipped with the armor of God to do battle with the forces of evil.

My first introduction to the writings of Erasmus are almost beyond recount. i especially liked the one titled The Godly Feast.

Appreciating Luther and the Reformation can only be undertaken after lovingly studying the figure of Erasmus.

Christian humanism is probably the greatest mental agility of spirit that man has ever achieved.

In it, the balances of justice can be righted, the true values of love be reexamined, and the praise of folly can be justified.

Secular humanism does not contain any of this greatness of purpose. Where man is the measure of all things, God is left out.

When God created the Christian humanist, I think His work was finished and He could rest.

Faith can move mountains according to the Christ, and it was finally time to shake the earth to see what would stand and what would fall.

The great tribulation had begun, those who had been first became last.

The Renaissance needed a Reformation. The works of man needed a redemption.
